Dear Friends...

[note: you may have already seen this, because i put it on facebook as well. the fact of the matter is, the more people that read it, the better. so here it is again!]

Hello friends!
So.
Basically, I have an opportunity to go to Ireland this summer on a mission trip. It's going to be totally awesome. We're going to be doing relational evangelism, which is basically hanging out where youth and kids my age hang out and getting to know them, building relationships with them, and sharing Jesus with them. There's a lot of hopelessness in the youth there and a lot of them just don't feel like Christianity is relevant to their lives, so we're hoping to show them the joy of Jesus. We're also going to have an intercession focus to some extent because a lot of what's going on is because of spiritual oppression. I'm really excited about it. Only thing is, it's not cheap.
I have to turn in $900 by Thursday, which is not something that I keep lying around the house. Basically, right now I'm asking for your prayers that God make this happen, preferably by Thursday. I feel like He's already shown me that He wants me to go, it's just a matter of getting there at this point. So your prayers are appreciated, and hey, if you have an extra five bucks or so burning a hole in your pocket, I wouldn't mind that either. Every penny counts.
I know that God is going to provide for me because He already provided part of the money that's due on Thursday, and hey, if He can make a whole world in six days, I'm positive He can do this.
More than anything, though, I would appreciate your prayers for the trip. I'm not sure how many people are going, but it's a really awesome team and everyone is super pumped about serving the Lord in Ireland this summer. Pray that we have an effective ministry and that God speaks through us.
