In true me fashion, rather than study or write a paper, like I should be doing, I'm posting on my blog.
A few things:
1. Grover's been extra whiny recently.
2. Holly found my blog. Yay!
3. Finals are pointless. In the real world, you get to look things up.
4. I have a new layout.
Allow me to expand.
1. He just whines all the time. For nothing. Yesterday, I got tired of it and put him in his crate, where he fell asleep and didn't whine. Weirdo. I think he's bored because nobody will play with him. Nobody will play with him because the nobody who's home to most during his awake hours has been studying for two days straight. I'm pretty sure he's biting his claws now. He's very interesting.
2. She googled herself! I told her as long as the boys don't find out, it's okay. I'm pretty sure I'd get made of pretty hardcore.
3. I just really am over school. I understand that teachers need to somehow test us to make sure we've learned something. I just hate taking tests.
4. I got tired of the old one. It was too...random for me. And also, too blah at the same time. Two colors, how boring? Anyways, I'm starting to get bored of the picture at the top as well, so don't be surprised if I change it.
I should probs get back to work now. Sheesh.

This week I learned...
1. Sometimes, boys are mean. And when you tell them to stop, sometimes they don't care. And you sometimes just have to get over it.
2. Finals are pointless. In the real world, you're totally able to look things up. Yes, it's true that there are a lot of people, such as doctors, who should probably memorize things, because time is a factor, but even then, they still get to look things up.
3. I need to learn how to use my planner.
4. God provides. I went from having $350 for my mission trip to $2000 in a week.
5. Staying up all night with your friends is fun. The next day generally isn't.
6. My parents aren't that different.
7. I live in the ghetto. I already knew this, but I was reminded of it recently.
8. Different people deal with different things in different ways. For example, some boys shut down and don't talk.
9. My friends and I really are a family in every way but one. Biologically.
10. Some teenagers rooms are bigger than my house. Thanks, solely, to their parents.

Summer Reading
Callie did this, so I'm going to. I honestly don't know what I'm going to be reading, but here's a few:

I've already started reading the Barbarian Way and Tales of Beedle the Bard, and I started Captivating waaaay long ago back in high school. So, clearly, I hope to finally finish it.
I've heard a lot about the Supernatural Ways of Royalty from my friends, but I honestly have no idea what it's about. Also, apparently, Redeeming Love is just AMAZING! A couple of my friends have been reading the series...I don't know what it's called, but the first book is The Eye of the World. One day, our friends decided to start deciding which characters we were, so I need to see what all the hype is about and see if I really am like the character they say I am.

You're Beautiful
If you haven't heard this song, go do it now. The lyrics are awesome on their own, but the music adds a lot to it.
You're Beautiful-Phil Wickham
I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
You’re beautiful
I see Your power in the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright
We are amazed in the light of the stars
It’s all proclaiming who You are
You’re beautiful, You're beautiful
I see you there hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died and then you rose again for me
Now you are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
You’re beautiful, you're beautiful
When we arrive at eternity’s shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We’ll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we’ll sing
You’re beautiful, You're beautiful, You're beautiful
I see Your face, You're beautiful, You're beautiful, You're beautiful
I see Your face, You're beautiful, You're beautiful, You're beautiful
I see Your face, I see Your face
I see Your face, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful

This week I learned...
This edition of "This week I learned..." is actually going to be "Last night/this morning I learned..."
I realize I have not posted things I've learned on a weekly basis, but if you don't already know it, you should know that consistency is not one of my strong points.
I have a "This week I learned..." but there's only one point, because it's the most important thing I've learned in awhile:
1. God WILL provide. If it's His will, it's going to happen.
God has really taught me a lot this week, and I am eternally grateful to Him for that.
Last night/this morning I learned...
1. Staying awake all night is very difficult. I couldn't do it, and had to take a three or so hour nap.
2. If I were to be graded on my improvement in Super Smash Brawl, I would get an A+.
3. Yard sales are a hit and miss.
4. Some people are super funny when they've gotten no sleep. Some are super grumpy.
5. Rap songs can be turned into blessings by the one and only Evan Deyoung. These rap song blessings...enough to make you laugh till you cry.
6. Cute couples don't bother me if I know them.
7. Sunrises are beautiful.
8. I like when other people take pictures with my camera. It gives a whole new perspective on life.
9. Some songs are interesting when made into worship songs. Like "You Spin Me Right Round" [the original, of course. Not Flo Rida's version.] {Also, please note that I do not agree with the note that the poster wrote. Worship isn't supposed to be constrained, and if this song helps someone relate...so be it.}
10. Our [school] family is very musical. When one person starts singing, we all do. Only problem: hardly any of us ever know the words. Or the right ones. It's probably because we all share a brain.
11. Also, if one of us gets sick, we're all going down. We share too much food and too many drinks.
12. My group of friends aka the fam is so dynamic, and I couldn't be happier. I am so blessed and so loved.
13. Family dinners are the best. Family breakfasts are better.
14. Boys will still wrestle even if one of them dislocated his pinky toe earlier. Boys wrestling is also a very interesting thing to wake up to.
15. Cuts by Catie are awesome. They're cheap as free and they're good too.
16. People are very interesting in the morning/when they haven't slept.
17. Bets that result in someone getting a butt tat are always hilarious.
18. I am SUPER excited about living with Ms. Holly Jean Lanasa [soon to be Deyoung] this summer. It's going to be awesome.
19. Things are ten times funnier/scarier/whatever when you're tired.
20. I am so, so very blessed to have the following people in my life:
My family
My extended non-biological sister, Theresa
My school family:
Holly
Jessica
Catie
Evan
Walter
Jake
Just thought I'd share.
In other news: The Lord continues to provide for my trip. I still need more, but I'm much closer to what I need than I was at this point last week. MUCH.
